anything I can do to reduce the consuption rate?
In the last 20k, I've replaced 3 valves with new ones.
The "original" valve failed with the base boost symptom.
The next valve failed with uncontrolled boost.
The third failed at base boost.
The one that's in there now is being intermittant, sometimes
base boost, sometimes normal, sometimes it will allow only 15 psi.
I have used the solvent slosh, and air. Usually it will work ok
for a couple of days.
The air box has been modified with a bunch of holes.
I'm now using a stock air filter, after having a K&N in there for the
1st 2 valves. It also has a Group9 intercooler
Boost is normal when I use a valve out of one of my other 9Ks.
Would it help if I pulled all the intake plumbing and washed it out?
Thanks,
jj
