the dyno I go to builds 800+HP NA small block chevys & fords they have state of the art machine shop & have built engines for many years
when I talked with them about lightening a crank for me they were like why? you are trying to produce torque with a 4 cylinder engine & when you lighten up the internals & the flywheel youreduce torque & rev more freely
I did take off the ballance chain on my 900 which made the engine more responsive but I wouldent do any more to lighten up the rotating assy
