I have a Spec Stage 2 clutch with a kevlar friction disc on my 95 9000 CSE. Upon installation, I had the flywheel machined. The first 1500-2000 km where rough as the kevlar disc had to set in. Once the disc settle in, the clutch became likeable. It is somewhat different from factory in that the point of engagement occurs a little quicker then factory. In other words, the clutch grabs fast when you take off from a start. Some are bothered by this, however, I like it. Escpecially when you are the fly - shifting is quick and crisp. My only real complaint about the clutch is it is rough when it is cold out (like -20 degrees Celius) due to the kevlar disc. However, this problem goes away when once the car has warmed up.
All in all, I like the clutch and think it better value for your money then spending about $650 (U.S. funds) to get only a pressure plate delivered to your door from Europe. My Spec2 clutch kit came with a pressure plate; disc; release bearing; and a tool to line the disc and pressure plate up when installing (that tool was a classy touch) for about the same price. IHHO - get a spec clutch - better bang for the buck.
Hope this post helps.
