Yeah - I am sure that my 1995 can handle the weather, that is not what I am afraid of. My wife would be a little on the annoyed side. Here is what I have put into my car in the last 8 months - New JT 3" turbo back exhaust($1100 installed), new radiator & fan ($500), new DI ($400), new fuel pump ($800), new serpintine pulley ($300), new Throttle Body ($550), new TCS valves ($150), new tires ($800), new brakes, disks and calipers all around ($1400). That is $6,000 in the last 8 months. If I kept both cars I would loose my right testicle. Besides, once I put the new clutch on, there is not much else that needs to be replaced. It already has the upgraded ECU and a K&N. The 9-5 is stock and would require a significant investment to get it near the power of my 9000. I think I am leaning towards keeping the 9000. I took his 9-5 on a 500 mile trip last fall and it just didn't feel right. I thought the 9000 handled much better and is WAY more fun to drive. To me, the 9-5 felt like a GM - a nicer GM but a GM none the less. Not at all European. I know what I have, I like what I have, so I think I probably will keep what I have. Probably not the smartest move. Not my first dumb decision and I am sure it won't be my last - but I have to go with my gut on this one. Also, in regards to your safety comment - this is my 2nd 1995 9000 Aero. The 1st one met an untimely death when a fully loaded 18 wheeler side swiped me doing 60 MPH - I walked away with just a sore back. After that incident I don't think there has been a tougher and safer car ever built than the 9000. In a lesser car I would not be here to write this ridiculously long post. Thanks all for the input.
