ya. works pretty well too. get the engine up to normal temp, as in don't do this on a cold engine. I like to use on of those 500ml bottled water plastic bottles, fill with distilled, put in a vacuum line about twice the length of the bottle, disconnect a vacuum line on the intake plenum, attach your 2x length of hose there, leave other end in the plastic bottle, plug the line just disconnected, pinch your 2x line to stop the water flow, modulate water intake by pinching (silicon hose is very easy to do with fingers - others may take a pair of needle nose pliers) and releasing the hose you can situate this so that you can do the water with one and and the throttle with the other, don't stall the engine, you effectively steam the combustion chamber clean. if you've seen the the top of the pistons after a blown head gasket you most likely saw one piston very clean, that was where the steamed water was going due to the headgasket failure. you are basically doing the same thing here, moderation is key.
