Jak, I just put my 9000 quaife into a new set of cases using many ng 900 parts. I had the 9000, ng 900 and 9-5/viggen differentials side by side and the size of the splines for the axles is about the only diference if you ignore the speedo drive they are interchangeable With the proper end caps. I have just about every possible combination of gear parts and axles, end caps ect that Saab ever made. Remember in 96 and later the ring gear mounts differently.
I dug up a 4.45:1 final drive from a N.A. 900 V6 and used the output shaft and ring gear with my quaife in my 95 9000 Aero.
It is absolutely fantastic.
I had the 4.05 ratio in the last tranny and It lasted four years. i hope this one finishes the summer.
If you need any parts or let me know. I have 10 transmissions sitting here 9-5, viggen, ng900 and 9000 all with low low miles that I picked up for spare parts. i will trade you for something if there is anything you can use.
