...a 16 year old who "shitcanned" 3 motors in 2 months has no business behind the wheel of a 250hp with an MBC.
He needs to be taught respect for a deadly device. He needs to be taught respect for how engines work and have limits. He needs to be the one rebuilding the engines when they die, and if that means he is without a car until HE fixes it then he needs to take responsibility for the damage and the repairs.
He needs a base model, or a 9000 turbo with a LENGTHENNED wastegate rod and no MBC and a speed and an idle regulator.
I treat kids like this every week in the ER. The psychiatrists spend years treating the guilty feelings harbored by the parents.
I am sure you will disagree, but I would not be a good person if I did not voice these concerns. My purpose is not to offend. These are not just my experiences. Four 16 year old kids died here in New York not 3 months ago after they sped around and lost control and killed a grandmother and her grandkid. That made national news.
