Suspension Upgrade Sugggestions

I need to improve the handling of a '95 900S. I installed KYB shocks but that did not help nearly enough. So I ordered B&G springs (received 4 rear springs - yet to be sorted out), and front control arm bushings from Powerflex. My question involves the rear suspension. I have never seen a setup like the NG900 with one rigid bar connecting both wheels. All body roll must torsion the bar or flex the rear bushings. I would think installing the Powerflex rear bushings would increase the rear roll stiffness dramatically - a good thing?. What experience have people had with urethane rear bushings? Are they worth the effort? Alignment specs for upgraded suspensions? Rack bushings? Bigger front sway bar? I am an Alfa nut, not a Saab guy, so I am proceeding blindly in this effort - all suggestions about what really works will be appreciated.
