I have done it, you need the 8mm line from the basket assembly. You will not know which one you have until you open it up, but you will need the 8mm line to make it fit. You can order a used assembly only and just get the one that is 8mm instead of the 6mm. Next, you have to wire up the pump, it comes with its own plug and two wires. You need to cut the oe wires and splice in the new pump's wires. Once that is all done, you need to open up the small screen cup in the bottom of the assembly. I used a dremal to open it up so the larger walbro 255 will fit inside. Thats about it.
I used a heat gun to soften the fuel line enough to get it on the 8mm nipple and then shrink it down over the nipple.
Differences: electrical wiring splice.
Open up small screen basket.
Use 8mm fuel line for pump.
Good Luck,
John
