That is very interesting, I would have thought they were on the other side and could not remove the air through scavenging quick enough and you would have needed a bigger better breathing cam, like the ones speed parts uses for their 2.5 liter 9500rpm motors. Enem has two more cam for solid lifters in our saab heads that go up from the 276/10.4mm cams.
Maybe the 264/9.6mm would have been a better fit in you're case if the stock t7 or even t5 cams work better. You could also do a cam re-grind and just improve the breathing on a smaller scale.
It sounds like they did map the sw so that the power on you're car is smooth and monstrous and to you're liking and that is what is important.
