The 900 strut towers are mounted lower in the car, making a 9-3 too low in front when installed, upper bolt circle is different also. I did the reverse putting a Koni spring and damper kit in my 95 ng900se with the 9-3 strut ass'y and 9-3 brakes all around. I had the front struts in and out several times, to shorten the front springs to make the ride height right. removed about 3/4's of a round of the new springs. The reason I did this is the other Vogtland springs I've installed in a car were too low, and hard, the front end 'topped out' alot, and the lower control arms were angled up to the knuckles at ride height, whacking out the geometry. The Koni 9-3 kit was way worth the effort. (p.s. I know this post was late)
