I don't know about a Viggen, but my new Black Turbo is way faster than my Stage I/II C 900 Turbo. The C 900 showed 250hp on a G-meter -- which I don't believe -- but I'd be surprised if it was less than 225hp. So the engine might be comparable. It's still FWD though and takes some care to handle when accelerating hard.
In getting the power to the road and keeping it there, the Turbo-X is simply incredible. I can't make it oversteer, I can't make it understeer, I feel no torque-steer. It accelerates like a rocket and corners as if on rails, even punching it in the turn. From what I've read, Viggen drivers don't usually say that.
Of course, the dealers are ordering the things with automatics, too. When I ordered mine they tried to sell me an automatic and my response was something like "An automatic in a performance car? Are you nuts?"
In conclusion, I'd think the guy backed off.
