Can I apply 12V and Ground to test faulty BPC? Posted by TODDMO [Email] (#493) [Profile/Gallery] (more from TODDMO) on Sat, 3 Jan 2009 08:01:51 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I'm new to the two coil BPC (former 900 owner). My BPC is not functioning. I have voltage at pin 2, but when I connect to the BPC, I don't hear the solenoid energizing or clicking. Should it? Can I apply voltage and ground to the BPC at pins 1 or 3 to move either of the solenoids? I'm trying to establish if the computer is not controlling the BPC (resistors bad?) or if I have a wiring problem. This is a former TCS car that has been converted to a standard throttle body and associated plumbing. I'm ready to start troubleshooting. (92 9000T/5spd)
