Since you shaved your cylinder head, do you have any idea what your compression ratio is? I'm not sure about whether or not there are bigger valves available for an 8v head, but would you be ok with having that done? Other than that, I would go with a performance cam and work on any restrictions you may have on the intake side. I used to have a similar exhaust setup on my old 87 8v, so I don't think that is going to be a restriction until you get up into A LOT more power. Maybe consider a safe little shot of nitrous, especially if you can get a wet kit figured out. I've heard of people adding a 5th injector right past the TB, so maybe that could be a way of accomplishing a wet kit if they don't make one. Also figure out what kind of rpm's your bottom end is balanced to handle and maybe you could upgrade your springs with a cam to take advantage of some higher rpm potential.
