That Vacuum "Diaphragm of some sort on the turbo compressor outlet" is actually Volvo's bypass valve. The reason some of us go with the Volvo TD04 is because their turbine housing is a 7CM2 rather than a 5CM like a Viggen or a 6CM like the '94 -'98 9000T 5 speeds use. The biggest problem with the Volvo is that a completely different down-pipe / flange has to be fabricated! If I do one of these for a Saab I retain the Saab compressor housing to get rid of the Volvo bypass valve and machine it for the compressor wheel I use which is similar to a 19T. Dave
