I've thought about this as well. I have considered wrapping it, or upstream piping (probably the latter because it can't cause overheating, and would be easier to install in an aesthetically-pleasing way). However, the moisture retention is no good (even though it's SS, it still creates a problem), and I've been toying with the idea of wrapping the insulation with a metal jacket... Just not sure how to do it, or what to use.
