I just finished putting a b-234 in my 97 900. All of the parts such as oil pan ,intake manifold, crank pulley, water pump and about a dozen other things are 9000 specific. The port shape is completely different on the t-5 and the t-7 heads. There is a number of issues going from a t-5 motor to a t-7 motor , the head issue is a biggie. I think a good t-7 motor should be easy to find . Goldwing Saab Parts should be able to furnish you a nice one-ed
