The tune on my ecu is actually a flex fuel tune. I am able to tune anywhere from 0 to 85 ethanol. Something to do with having traction control gives me that option. However the ecu does favor e85 over 100% gasoline. I live in Austin Texas and we only have one e85 station, which happens to be about three miles from my house. My daily driver is a company truck so the viggen does sit five days a week, poor thing.
From my understanding if your Saab is stock, all that needs to be done is an ecu tune. I have an open air filter, bigger intercooler, and a 3" exhaust. I used the siemens 60lb injectors. The walboror 225 fuel pump was recommended by the tuner. Isnt't the botsch a larger flowing unit? I am not out to make a monster hp viggen, I just wanted to run an alternate fuel.
