I had the 0.64 with T5 cams,T5 head then the 0.86. The 0.86 is quite a different animal - laggier but delivers about 55bhp more, like for like on our engines at T5 cam level.
0.64 with Enem 264 cams will spool very similar to the 0.86 with T5 cams but the 0.64+cams probably has a slightly wider powerband, holding torque into higher rpm.
But if you look at the huge relative cost of the cams, the 0.86 wins hands down as there will be almost no difference between the 2 options you have in real world driving.
