No question you made a lot of power with the t7 rods, but I am not sure if you are trying to say you think the t7 rods are better than t5 rods. Lots of european guys run the t5 bottom ends to high hp and just the size difference makes the t5 rods look much stonger. Tons of 500bhp + t5 engines, only a few t7 ones in comparison from what I see.
I stated 666bhp, that is at the crank, my holset set up is very close to your power level, over 800bhp, its t5 bottom end all the way. I think having a rod fail can be from several different things, the tune, the condition of the crank, the oil pressure in the engine, the general condition of the motor, was it balanced, not balanced, etc.
There is no denying the t5 motors have been around and running high hp for years and years, not near as many of the t7 motors making the big power. It is nice to see that you can make that kind of power with the t7 rods, but not sure I would trust them to over 600bhp, might go to Pauter rods or verdi at that point, just my opinion on that,
John
