Hello, performance board. I'm usually over on 9K, but I think you guys will be better suited to answer this question. I did a little searching here, but keywords are evading me.
Stock 96 CSE with a T25. The BPC failed a while ago, so I pulled the W hose and went easy on the fun pedal till the new one arrived. But, during that "broken" time, the turbo spooled full red when I so much as looked at the pedal. With the new BPC, spool times are back to normal. I'm pushing 11.9 psi according to the MAP sensor.
How do I return to that amazing spool-up without risking catastrophic engine failure? It seems like the WG is seeing a little pressure and opening before it hits full boost, so should I find an aftermarket electronic boost solenoid? Is the T5 BPC just a piece of junk?
