Which one to pursue depends upon local emissions regulations.
No mandatory emissions? Then buy an O2 adapter from Big Daddies Garage or similar source. This is the route I went because Michigan has no mandatory testing.
Mandated periodic emissions testing? Then have a large aftermarket truck V8 style catalytic converter installed where the center resonator typically sits. Weld another O2 bung behind it. Move the rear O2 sensor to this new bung, use an extension cable from GenuineSaab to reach it, and plug what is now the center bung.
