I have been running a aftermarket Forge "style" BOV on my T5 stage 5 9-3 with a td04 19t with approx 310HP running at 28psi max. I am noticing peak boost taper and suspect the BOV to be the main cause. I did ask the company I got this from max PSI and they said 1.8bar that is right around 26PSI.
Anyone have a good recommendation for a better valve that is not super $$. I might try to just stiff up the spring with some washers to see if this helps the issue. I know the t7 cars cannot run BOV to atmosphere but I have seen a few of the HKS on flea bay that look solid. HKS SSQV 4 Blowoff Valve. Can this handle 28-30PSI?
