The car is a 2001 95 Aero with stage 1 tuning, forged pistons, balance shaft delete, lightened flywheel and other enhancements.
Good question on the material. That is some interesting material. Fabrication would be necessary to make it all fit, and each joint could be a potential reliability problem.
The tubing I am using has lots of great properties. It is quite strong both from a crushability standpoint. The temperature range is very wide at -50degrees to + 250 degrees. Much cheaper tubing is available, but may not last the way I hope what I have chosen will last.
I am continuing testing on my car and am installing similar systems on other 95 Aeros.
