Check with the folks at GenuineSaab in Springfield, MO -- they list a 3 in on the website, but there is a lead time as I recall.
Is the car LH2.4? If so, you'll need a voltage clamp for the AMM if you open up the exhaust, and let it breath. I forget what you do with the LH2.2, and some people fiddle with resistors, but that just shifts the problem elsewhere. The voltage clamp is from Split Second in California. They work great once you get the voltage set under 4.2V. I clamped mine at 4V and that prevented it from going into fuel cut.
Hmmm.....I think you defeat the overboost switch on LH2.2 and that keeps fuel going to the engine. But, it comes at the risk to other parts of the system.
Or, just do the T5 as you indicated you wanted to do, and forget all that other claptrap.
