Will a new APC make a difference? Posted by Gordon [Email] (#97) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Gordon) on Wed, 4 Jul 2001 09:03:47 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I am debating on a few things here, the Turbo on my '85 SPG isn't quite a strong as it once was, if I upgrade to a SPG9/or Swedish Dynamics APC, will I notice a difference in boost?
Other mods I am getting soon: K&N inlet kit, Bosch high perf. bypass valve, and possibly, getting the stock turbo rebuilt.
So, say with a new APC/K&N inlet kit &Bosch high perf. bypass valve, am I going to notice a power increase? From what I read, the Swedish Dynamics APC is supposed to give you 15 to 20 more hp, right now, my car has around 165, 15 more would give me 180, 20 more 185, the with the K&N inlket kit (wich supposedly gives you around 5 more HP) thats quite a jump up in HP.
Any ideas, or suggestions?
Thanks
Gordon

OH yeah, when my car is all done, I am going to post a bunch of pics online. I'll tell you a little more about it: Extra large whale tail, extra large side vent covers, tinted glass, refinished grille (painted black), tinted directionals, lowering springs, new shocks, refinished bumper &air dam, rear louver, what else....can't think of it all, but you'll see soon!
Thanks again, Gordon
