Hey GM...
You get a track and *I* will be there, as will other I am sure.
Class of Wednesday, Track Day on Thursday... check in and first evening at conv on Friday.
I think track day was $150 or $125, with a good check in process and 4 divisions. The Skip Barber guys were great. We had a great crew of people who largely behaved well enough in the morning sessions to be allowed open sessions wihtin class, all afternoon..
I could hardly complete a full sentence by the edn of the day. There was also an autocross course setup with timed events all day as well.
One thing I wished I could have done at the 2000 SOC was the rally, but it was either attend the concourse or participate in the rally, which is tragic on both ends as it takes many great cars out of the concourse and the rally that should be together, not to mention that none of the rally participants got into the group photo..
The rally also ran right into the dinner on Sat night, and many of the ralliers got really poor seats at the dinner.. 8^(.. and they were *gone* all day on Sat ... and we all agreed that it felt like a tearing apart of the group spirit... annnywho...
A suggestion if you please.... In 2002, school on Wed, open track on Thurs, Rally on Friday, concourse on Sat....
I would be interested in the class.
