Jamex were a British company who ceased trading 2 or 3 years ago. GMax was set up by one of the ex directors I think and from what I can gather the products are identical (just badged differently)
The Jamex site in your link is Australian so perhaps it is just a sales office/distributor - they may even buy Gmax and badge the things up as Jamex which is something that wouldn't be allowed here in the UK.
