YES I SHOUTING. Don't heat a spring to lower it. It will get shorter alright, but it will lose all springiness and may continue to simply get lower and lower until you are riding on the bump stops. Also, while I can appreciate some one liking lowered cars, I personally think it is stupid just like body piercing and dying your hair purple.
