...from http://www.tirerack.com is very accurate. This comes from their comparison test of the Yokohama AVS Sport, Dunlop SP Sport 9000, and Bridgestone S02 Pole Position.

"On the road, the AVS Sport was praised for its low noise level, good ride comfort, and responsive handling...although of the three tires the AVS Sport felt the most like a thoroughbred race horse...a little twitchy and willing to follow the road's irregularities. On the wet track, the AVS Sport ran lap times that fell between the other two tires. And while it offered good wet traction and predictable handling, it resulted in longer lap times as it understeered at the handling limit. On the dry track, the AVS Sport traction and responsiveness sharpened...and it demonstrated why it deserved the "Sport" name. For that matter as the track dried the AVS Sport understeer was minimized and it continually narrowed the lap time differences between it and the Bridgestone Potenza S-02 Pole Position, until in dry conditions its average lap times were the fastest of the three tires in the test. After our day of testing on the track the Yokohama AVS Sport tires showed noticeably less wear, and more even wear than the other two tires tested."

I especially like the last two sentences--fastest tire in the test and less wear.
