whose had head work done?

My valve seals/guides are worn badly on my 88 9Kt (125k miles). I want to get a rebuilt port/polished head. Swedish Dynamics "red" modified head seems to be a good choice. They match and port the manifolds, and paint the valve cover. SPG9 appears to have an allegiant following on this board (they've always been very helpful on the phone), but don't have head mods listed on their site, but I think they offer modified heads as well. Peaco was also considered, but after reading posts on this board, I have ruled them out. I've also heard that the 2.3 head is the better basis for head mods. I would appreciate any feedback on this subject.
