Is there a good place to grab a conditioned rpm signal without having to build a circuit to step down the voltage to less than 10VDC? The DAQ I have in mind only has +-10VDC capability.
My car is not much above stock. 88 900TC, Trent RRFPR, large IC pipes, SD Red air filter, NGK EV plugs, new wires, cap, etc. I'm planning on tweaking the APC and want to do things right rather than blow something up and learn from a mistake. I have no plans of major upgrades as far as aftermarket engine management systems and such. I'm just trying to learn as much as I can about tuning. Thanks for the help.
