There is one wire for each plug (pins 2,3,4,5 on the DI). Each signal is normally high (+12v) with short pulses to ground. For each signal the ECU has a transistor to ground and the DI has a resistor to +12. I wouldn't expect that the ECU will get these lines all the way to ground but as I recall RoadDyno permits setting the limits for high/low transitions.

I'm not sure what is the point of using the road dyno, at least for my car. Torque is limited in the first two gears and a pull in third sounds like a good way to get a ticket.... That is unless you can get some time at a track.
