Call turbo engineering and chat with them. ask them if they recommend an upgrade from the scanwest turbo, last time i talked with them they blew off ball bearing turbos as to troublesome but technology has changed lately. they are a good pretty shop and sell only turbos. all sizes...small to diesel monsters. golden colorado,1-800 - 950 - TURBO. i think it is corky bell's shop??? depending on what your plans are, you can consider several options. if you are looking for a monster then you will have a different reality than if you are looking for flat quick torque at sane levels...220 at the wheelish. i think the mitsu turbo is considerbly more responsive than the garret series. bigger is not neccessarily better. you want one that gets to your target in a hurry and stays there. i 've yet to run out of turbo and i dun runned out of transmissions 'cepting these ones all over the floor. i'd prefer a smaller one and a good ic. next time maybe :). i included a link. glad to see you agree that information that is useful is pretty few and far between. kevin k et al excepted. still needs significant hydro dynamic understanding as well as heat balance equations. a technical endeavour....you can handle that...make it a research paper...
later.
