advice on lowering car Posted by Ryan [Email] (#2222) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Ryan) on Thu, 27 Jun 2002 23:49:35 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Hi everyone,
I was considering getting the Intrax springs or finding some
SPG springs for my C900T hatch. I was told by a local shop
though that putting in lowering springs could well make your
handling worse, and that many people bring their cars back
to make them stock because they end up hating the ride.
Any comments on this? I'd personally like to make the 900
more of a handler. I've driven my share of Fiats (X1/9s, etc.)
and Alfas (75/Milano, etc.) and I'd like to get the Saab up
to those road-carving standards. :>
Is going with just SPG springs good enough? Will those
Intrax springs indeed improve the overall cornering ability
of the car?
