Hi Taylor, your throttle body will interchange with any '89 up C900T. It only has one vacuum line provision where the earlier ones have two or three depending on the year. The '85 and early '86's have an adjustable air bleed screw which you don't need (want) and the '86-'87's have the idle control nipple blocked off because the hose goes to the manifold instead on the pre-'88 years. An '88 would work fine but you would have extra unnecessary nipples to cap off. Basically if you find a throttle body with all three large brass nipples and only one small (top) one it will be right as long as both throttle position switch screws attach directly to the throttle body casting itself. The 2.1's and all the later ones mount one screw to the casting and one to the little water manifold piece that the coolant lines attach to. Take care, Dave
