Ryan,
Well I'm not Gary, but I did the same thing (influenced by the pic of his Lesco engine, actually)
Vince T helped me do my install, and he kept telling me, "once youre under the hood, it will make sense". With that said, it was very easy. I installed one on my cousin's 89 900S, and he timed me, just for fun... under a minute, lol! You shouldn't have any trouble.
You remove the whole fitting that is in the valvecover, the elbow, the o-ring, etc. Follow the small vacuum line back to the intake manifold, or the throttle body, I forget which one, cap the fitting with a little vacuum cap. Then, with the bigger hose that went to the valvecover, get a spare bolt (a wheel lug bolt works great), push it in tighly, and put a hose clamp around it tight. The bigger tube is for coolant I'm told, and you don't want that spilling out. Then, when everything is removed, plugged up, put a little oil on the end of the breather, and it pops right in the hole, air tight.
A picture of my crankcase breather in my engine is below....
and here is a link to another picture of the breather...

Good luck
