I too have a 93 Aero and have asked this exact same question before. I haven't found anyone who has chipped thier 93 yet. I haven't gone ahead and had mine reprogrammed yet either but am looking at doing this soon as well, but I have decided to make this my last mod. So far I have the full JT 3" exhaust(from engstrom) A K&N, and water injection. Before I go with the reprogram though I plan on getting larger injectors, getting my head ported and polished and getting a higher flow intercooler. Because of the mods I want to do, I have been told that I will have to go with Maptun, because Speedparts or SQR(which are one in the same)can't program specifically the mods I plan on doing. Before you start putting out the horsepower numbers it seems that you want, you should make sure the rest of the engine is healthy. Remember that our transmissions are weaker than the later transmissions as well, so be ready for at least a clutch job once you upgrade as well. As far as reprogramming goes, I believe most of the European tuners will now program our cars as well, but in the U.S. there isn't anyone who is known for their Trionic programming skills. If you are looking at Engstrom and Taliaferro, they will both be supplying you with the same chip, which is from speedparts. Speedparts seems to be the most aggressive programmer out there, so its pretty much up to you. Everyone here likes both Maptun and Speedparts products, but don't really like the programming that Abbott puts out. Nobody in the U.S. seems to know much about Hirsch, except that they are expensive due to being endorsed by saab now. Well I hope this helps, and let me know what you find out, since I too will be going through this soon myself.~
