I have the same thing happening right now. I rebuilt the 2.0 and had the head done. Put a t3/t4 on it and ran the piss out of it with just a 3.0 fpr, no exhaust mods,no bigger injectors, modified apc,and now......... I am pretty sure that most of my exhaust is going right past the pistons. I was running 15- 20 psi of boost like an idiot with nothing to compensate for the higher boost. I had the 1990 SPG ecu for a while and took the egr system out and put capacitors in line so I would get no ce light. I was thinking that it was that that might have caused me a lean condition but, now that I think of it,most likely not. Funny thing is, it does not burn any oil. I guess the oil scraper rings are still good. Happy tuning, or in my case, rebuilding.
