look at a previous post by me on purge valve failure. This sucks the tank up and guess what? it crushes the fuel level sender and the pump pickup, i assume you have not taken the tank out to look? so how could you tell if there is any damage. By the way I work on these cars every day and I have seen this happen more than a few times on NG900's and 9-3's so check it out.

i dunno what abbott's deal is but their high prices dont reflect the quality of their products, which are nothing spectacular or extraordinary.

one thing I have learned from my car experience is that people lie about whats under the hood and the only way to know for sure is to look yourself.
