Everything is identical except for the swing valve assembly and the waste gate actuator bracket. The '89 up C-900T's do originally have an actuator bolt on style bracket rather than the earlier ones that were spot welded and the early 9000T's were also a bolt on bracket so you can use your original '88 9000 bracket with the 900 actuator especially if it is a high performance one however you may need to use the eye portion from your 9000 actuator to get the length correct. The only other thing you'll need to do is re-clock the compressor housing to fit the new 9000 application. A magnetic angle finding level from a hardware store works great, just match it at the outlet to your original 9000 turbo. Dave
