I don't know because I'm not sure. I never ran a boost controller on my '89 spg because I had the pods adjusted and loved the snap of the boost from that. The mbc will probably flatten your torque curve and the c900 world seems to be vehemently opposed to the use of them.
What year is your car? if it is a 94 or newer you could try two different setups, stright MBC or SMBC between the turbo compressor and the BPC.This would get you some off the line performance increases without raising your peak boost.
If the car is the older 900, '92 or before, you might want to try some other methods.
Make your own MBC and keep your investment minimal in case you don't like it. I have made a few for less than $7 in parts that work as well as the one I bought.
