When the weather started cooling off here and my car started making more power my clutch started to slip from 3500 up to 4000 in the higher gears. This happens when the boost is at 17-18 psi peak. So WOT in 3,4, and 5th the tach climbs smoothly up to 3500 then jumps to 4000 and hangs there until the car speeds up enough and then the tach. climbs nice and smoothly again until red line. Is this a typical clutch slip for the C900? BTW this clutch only has ~2000 miles or less.
Now with the stock APC the clutch will still slip from 3500-4000. Did I glaze the clutch or why is it still slipping at lower power levels? I unpluged the BCP so now it's at base boost. I'm wondering if the clutch will start to come back if I drive it nicely for a long time. Any chance in this helping or do I have to pull the clutch to fix it?
Sorry so long, I just like to fully explain my questions I guess.
Thanks
Chad B
