The system is great and after a great deal of effort and some modifications it fits. I don't know if I got a bum one or what.
The tail pipe about an inch after it connects to the muffler was hitting the mount for the panhard bracket and hitting it solidly. No amount of adjustment up at the cat would help.
A friend and I today ended up taking off the muffler, putting a new bend in the longest mount (left side) so that the exhaust hangar would pull it more to the left. That partially solved the problem but we also took the tail pipe and using a hydraulic press we flattened it out about 1/4" in the entire area where it passed by the panhard mount.
Now it fits great but it was a struggle. I don't know if the fact that my car is a convertible means the rear is slightly different. I didn't think it did.
The system sounds great and more importantly I noticed an increase in effective (or perceived) power immediately. I purchased my car this summer and the prior owner had hung a generic muffler shop exhaust on it. What a mess that was getting that out.
