Trionic varies boost to maintain power level/air mass programmed in the software, right? It seems to me if you install a more efficient IC, the ecu might lower boost a bit to make up for colder air coming out of the IC. A better way to evaluate a prototype IC would be to use a tech2 to record air temps and boost, etc. with stock IC installed, and again with new IC. If you had everything ready, you could test both within a few hours to keep similar conditions. It would be much easier to sell a $900 IC if you had some data. Just a shadetree idea...
