ahhh, a week ago we were tearing up the autoX... :^)
Margorie was her name and she is from Sacramento, CA, and I think she was 75 years young. She had as much or more spirit for driving as any of us, although she wasn't able to post the times soem of the rest of us managed, she was an inspiration to us all.... :^) Then there was Mandi, and the two days of ladder teasing she endured... (anyone know what her web site URL is?)
To a person the TCS Viggen resulted in slower AutoXross times... it just didn't deliver as much power, but then that is exactly what it is supposed to do... on a strightline 0-60 trip, I would suspect you would also see a drop in times.
None of us managed a smoke show like one of the Instructors though.. :^), although Brad and myself really tossed the wet/dry car very well at around 29 secs, when Chris Hall ran it he put in a near 28 sec time. It was fun to watch him "toss" the 9-3SE we used on that course. One should mention that the SE's we used on the Skidpad areas were very well used.. in that I mean they definately showed the wear on the suspension and braking system, but that made it all the more challening in a way...
