Here is what Chris Emailed to me for hardware specs. The local hardware store knew what to give me, but I'm not sure if the guys at Home Despot or the such will have patience/inclinations to help you find what you need:
---------------------------------------
"M8 125 45 in length which is about 2" long this will go into the
firewall the other is 1/4 and 1 3/4" in length with matching lock nut"
------------------------------------------
The guys at the neighborhood store knew exactly what these were.
Note that the OEM "M8" bolt came out with an attached washer, so I installed the new one with a lock washer shaped like a sprocket (rough side down on the chrome brace) along with some blue lock-tite (the OEM bolt came out with lock-tite on it).
The bolt for the wheel well went in fine after I returned to the store for a shorter one. I also put a regular washer at both ends for good measure. Make sure you get this bolt with a hex end so you can hold it with a monkey wrench while tightening the lock nut (i.e. with a nylon insert) under the hood. A flat-head screwdriver head will be VERY difficult to use for this installation.
Hope this helps!!!
