Thanks Tom. They're an all season tire, so they're not as radical in their design as the tire you posted. What size & speed rating do you usually end up with on your Aero?
These tires are the 185/65 BFG Traction T/As. Man, in just the two days I've had them I can tell a HUGE improvement over the 195/60 Pirelli P400s they replaced! The T-rated Pirellis never gave very good cornering or grip, they always felt like they were "slapping" the pavement instead of rolling over it, & their snow performance was abysmal. These BFGs have eliminated all of those problems (I won't know about the snow for a while, but I expect them to be light-years ahead of the Pirellis), with the groove tracking being the only down side.
As a side note, I reduced the tire pressure this morning from the installed 35 psi to the recommended (3 to 5 person load) 32 psi. The tracking seemed less on my way in to work, so we'll see how they do on the way home tonight. The 1 to 2 person load is recommended at 29 psi, so I might try that tomorrow. Does this say maybe it's some percentage of both tread & wall stiffness?
