Hey all! I looked for past posts that might answer my question but found none...My '92 9KT w/ 140k boosts only to mid-yellow. My '91 9KT, while it was running, boosted to the end of the red and was an absolute rocket.

My '92 makes a whistling sound that is audible from inside and outside the car. Then the wastegate arm got broken in the open position so I had NO boost at all and no whistle either. When I got it fixed, the whistle came back and so did some of the boost, but still only to mid-yellow. This was one month ago and since, I have lost boost a little and the whistling has gotten louder...

What is happening? Is my APC selenoid valve not working/blocked? Is there a crack in my BOV, causing a whistling from leaking turbo pressure? Anyone else experienced this problem? I'm dying here, I'm getting a turbo-back/sport cat 3" exhaust for my b-day and want my car to run like a bat out of hell. Sould I just steal the selenoid valve off my '91, get a Forge BOV and replace all the vacume hoses just to be safe?
