most software writers arent taking into acount other bolt on mods unless they sugjest you use them with their software
so you should write your tuner & ask
Id say no its a bad idea
boost creep is when boost raises in pressure as the RPMs increase due to too small a wastegate/turbine housing
boost taper is what most of us suffer from wastegates getting blown open under boost or stock APC software/hardware this is where boost lowers with the rise in RPM this can be helped with an increase in WG spring tension but can have an adverse efect on the speed your engine management can drop boost when a problem arises
so Id say ask your tuner
